Heading to Chiclayo.
First stop Santiago (Chile) & Lima (Peru Capital)
We are here in Chiclayo and without too much drama. Thanks to Purdies (Mia's) Spanish speaking skills. So far we have spent an awesome couple of days in Santiago Chille. We stumbled upon a beautiful oasis and accommodation to recovery from the first part of our journey. We had an arranged meeting with a beautiful couple Alicia and Maguel. Such amazing heart space people. Alicia took us out into the country to meet her 87 year old mother and to pick fresh figs, eat water melon and play guitar under her favorite avocado tree. They conducted some very powerful Rekie on Mumma Reish back at the hotel room and really started off her healing journey on these lands.
Our first real adventure was staying a night in transit in one of the worlds most dangrous cities. Lima, Peru's capital. Hard core Bad lands that's for sure. You know it's a heavy zone when the taxi driver removes his watch and tells you to put all valubles on the floor. I was awakened that night at 4 am to the sound of a barking dog. I peered out the window of our 11 story room to witness three dudes rob some poor guy out the front of our hotel. An hour later we were out the front of the Hotel hoping into our taxi to return to the airport. We had to drive fast through all the back streets to avoid having to stop at traffic lights on the main road. That place deffinatly puts life into perspective.
All of that adrenaline aside we arrived here in Chiclayo. Quite a baron city reminds me of pictures I have seen of Iraq desert city scape except it is bustling with little yellow Dihatsu Charade cabs and Thailand style tuk tuks. Not many foreigners and you don't really get hassled out by anyone to buy anything. I think a nice place to do what we have come to do.
Today we meet with Ysabel and family. We have been invited to stay with them for the next 15 day while Mum goes through her healing process. At the moment she will be having 4 ceremonies in this time. Wow so many emotions running around my body. I am not sure personally if it is my time to participate with the medicines. Im sure this will become clearer as time goes on. What is clear is that this is divine intervention at work here for Mums process. One month ago Ysabel was traveling on a bus on a journey. As she slept a dream of her working on a person with cancer. So she was not surprised when Simon contacted her about Mum wanting to see her. Seeing them together today allowed me to surrender any sense of doubt and fear which I may have been carrying.
This is amazing, tiring and all so very new.
love and beyond
